1. This photo is a macro photo of my chuck taylor's i used to run while trying to lose weight. I like this shot because it really emphasizes the Converse logo while showing a shallow depth of field. The shallow depth of field creates less focus to the background and draws your eyes to the logo. The focus of interest is definately the logo. According to the rule of the thirds the photo is focused in the middle and to the right squares.
2. I like this photo of the yen because it starts off with a large object, the man, and leads to the 100. I would consider this photo to have a deep depth of field because the 100 is more in focus then the man. I think this image could be better maybe if i got the bill to stand up and then go from there.
3. This is another good shot of my converse but from another perspective. This shot emphasizes that the shoe has been worn a lot and maybe the shoe has a history behind those holes. This photo has shallow depth of field because you can clearly see the stitching and the tear. In the rule of thirds the focus of this image would mainly be towards the bottom squares.
