Macro Photo Shoot

Converse All Star

Yen

Over used Chuck Taylor's
1. This photo is a macro photo of my chuck taylor's i used to run while trying to lose weight. I like this shot because it really emphasizes the  Converse logo while showing a shallow depth of field. The shallow depth of field creates less focus to the background and draws your eyes to the logo.  The focus of interest is definately the logo. According to the rule of the thirds the photo is focused in the middle and to the right squares.

2. I like this photo of the yen because it starts off with a large object, the man, and leads to the 100. I would consider this photo to have a deep depth of field because the 100 is more in focus then the man. I think this image could be better maybe if i got the bill to stand up and then go from there.

3. This is another good shot of my converse but from another perspective. This shot emphasizes that the shoe has been worn a lot and maybe the shoe has a history behind those holes. This photo has shallow depth of field because you can clearly see the stitching and the tear. In the rule of thirds the focus of this image would mainly be towards the bottom squares.

SYMBOLSS

For this particular project i had to select 5 words and replace one letter with a symbol pertaining to the word. For my five words, if you had not already noticed, i chose coexist, protect, moon, chemistry, and drop. I contemplated on the idea which symbols to replace and i am pretty content with my decisions. I worked really hard on this project and therefore i think i deserve and A! =O!

MACRO PHOTOGRAPHY

MACRO PHOTOGRAPHY- The image being projected is close to the same size as the subject.

The basic materials needed to shoot a macro photograph are macro lens, a step down ring, and a tripod.

  1. put the macro lens on the camera
  2. screw the step down ring on the macro lens
  3. put your camera on manuel focus.
  4. set your camera on the tripod and shoot!
IF i had the chance to shoot anything in macro form i would choose a snowglobe, converse shoes, goggles.
